JOB DESCRIPTION

(FULL-TIME ENGLISH PRIMARY TEACHER)

1. WORKING SCHEDULE:

- Working schedule:

+ From Monday to Friday:

In the mornings: 8:00-12.15PM

In the afternoons: 1.30- 5.00PM

+ Saturday: Events and Parrent meetings (If any, around 3-5 times/ academic year)

(The number of actual teaching hours in classroom is from 20-25 per week)

2. WORKING LOCATION:

- At an international school in Long Thanh, Dong Nai.

3. CONTRACT DURATION:

- Duration: 1 year (renew after 1 year of cooperation)

+ Summer vacation: 1-1.5 months (will not be paid)

4. REQUIREMENTS:

- BA, BSc, Bed

- A minimum of 1 year of teaching experience

- CELTA, TESOL, or TEFL

5. SALARY & BENEFITS:

- Salary: 45.000.000 – 50.000.000 VND/ month (NET)

- Acommodation allowance: The teacher will be supported 2.000.000VND/ month for accommodation when they move to Dong Nai.

- The school provides daily transportation for students and teachers between Ho Chi Minh and Dong Nai using a bus service.

- Vacation with full paid salary:

• Tet Holiday: teacher will be paid for 5 days as the Government’s Tet schedule. In case the teacher will be OFF more than 5 days, the other days will not be paid.

• Other annual Holidays: Hung Kings Commemoration (10/3 of lunar year), National Day (2/9); Victory Day (30/4); International Labor Day (1/5).

- Sick leave: 3 days (with medical papers from doctors)

- Work Permit and TRC: We will support the teacher to do Work Permit and TRC with our company’s papers and 2.000.000- 4.000.000VND

6. RESPONSIBLITIES AND DUTIES:

- Teaching English to primary students (30 students/ class)

- Curriculum development and other administrative tasks if required.

- Preparing engaging lesson plans

- Writing reports

- Joining parrent meetings

- Beyond their teaching duties, teachers are expected to contribute to the school as role models and active members of its community.
